Presenting your case before the Lord

Shalom Friends, I hope all is well! Job 13:15(NKJV) “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.”

Presenting your case before the Lord

Lamentations 3:59(KJV) “O Lord, You have seen [a]how I am wronged; Judge my case.”

We all have cases that we present before God in prayer, Job presented His case to God. Job was a generous giver, giving to the poor, widows, and orphans. He did everything out of a place of love, but He did not have the right understanding of God and lacked wisdom, but He trusted God in everything. Jeremiah said the Lord should judge His case, though he had a hard word to give out, and many did not pay attention, He was thrown into prison and many wanted to kill him, but Jeremiah mourned the things that were coming to the nation and could not bare to watch woman sacrificing children to eat and how many will be in captivity. God is the fair judge that will judge all the nations and our cases, he chose who He will have mercy on. Sometimes we are like Job and we want to understand why we are suffering, we seek wisdom, but there is just silence. Then there are times that God slowly gives us wisdom on why we had to go through that hard season for the old branches to be pruned so that new fruits can grow in us. The King was in the field checking on everyone’s houses, and the King will render with good or bad judgment to your home( What you sow is what you will reap). Seek God for understanding, have an eye-opening day and God loves you.
