Once saved, always saved ( The issue)

Shalom Friends Ihope all is well. Philippians 2:12( NKJV) "Therefore, my beloved, as youhave always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in myabsence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;"

Once saved, always saved ( The issue)

The question I had to ask myself is if there is such athing as 'good people' or pastors why do some end up in Hell. I was listeningto testimonies of people visiting Hell and they will see familiar people, whoeven they thought were religious and came across as good people.

I grew up always believing one can lose their Salvationuntil someone told me that you can't, but still something didn't make sense.

Salvation is a gift to all who believe in JesusChrist(Romans. 5:15-18), God said He will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) and that no one can pluck you out of His hands(John 10:28).The key lies in your relationship with God, You need to come to God freely, Hewon't keep you against your will. The choice is yours to choose God everyday(John 3:19-21), if you choose to walk away from God, you are then outside of His hand.

The more you play around with sin, the more sin willconsume you(1 John 5:16), to a point that you grieve the Spirit (Ephesians4:30)and the Spirit looks dead to God.

Most Christians are in denial that you can't lose yoursalvation, yet they do not grow. They keep returning to worldly things and theydo not repent for their sins( Romans 2:5), would this person enter into Heaven?

To enter Heaven you have to be spotless(Ephesians 5:27),and we all have fallen short of the glory of God(Romans 3:23), but by believingin Jesus and covering yourself under His blood makes you spotless.

Why did some people who you thought to be a good personwent to hell?

1. They refuse to repent for their sins

2. They never had an intimate relationship with God

But they will say, but why should I confess, Jesusalready paid the penalty for all my sins. Since your transformation is notcomplete you have to confess to God, the sins that you committed in the fleshdaily, you are not supposed to hide anything from God.

If you have done something to hurt a person, will you notsay, you're sorry and not do it again, same with God, sin hurts God, so youconfess to God and turn away from that sin and God will respond I remember yoursins no more(Hebrews 8:12). This is part of building a relationship. This iswhat it means to work out your Salvation, do what God loves, and hate what Hehates.

Jesus said: Many will say, Lord, Lord we did many thingsin your name...and He will just respond, depart from me, I never knewyou(Matthew 7:21-23). Does God know you? If you have a personal relationshipwith God then surely He knows you.

It's important to know that God looks at your heart(Hebrews4:12 &Acts 8:22), do you love Him, or was it just a show you put up to get money outof people? Some say they are Christians but their hearts are far from God.

Our works are like filthy rags(Isaiah64.6) because Jesus already did the finish works for you at the cross.

We can't add you our Salvation( Ephesians 2:8-9), but Godsaid we ought to follow His instruction, to put our trust in Him daily and knowJesus means you know who He is, what he likes, what He doesn't like, andobeying His word. Have an eye-opening day and God loves you!
